If you're still at the airport, return to the place where you believe you left it. If you've already departed, report the lost item to the airport's Lost & Found service immediately, providing flight details, terminal, gate/lounge, and a detailed description of the item.

It depends on where the item was lost. Inside the terminal public areas is handled by Airport Lost & Found. If left on the aircraft, it is handled directly by your airline baggage services. Lounge left-behinds go to the lounge operator.
